Since I am five months older than my darling husband, his birthday is always a welcome even as it causes Nick and and I to be the "same age" once more. :)
It was cold and dreary (typical) this weekend, so we celebrated Nick's birthday with a Cotswold drive followed by a long, leisurely gastropub lunch at the Kings Head Inn next to a roaring fire.

Nick's only other birthday request was an afternoon nap. So when we got home from lunch the girls watched a movie while their parents snoozed on the couch. :)
I truly appreciate how Nick makes his birthday an awesome day for our entire family. Cotswold drive, delicious lunch, and an afternoon nap/movie...everybody wins! I think I speak for all of Nick's girls when I say that he is the best man in the whole world. We love you, Nicholas!
